Maria Sjostrom

Maria E. Rincón Sjostrom, a native of Maracaibo located NW Venezuela. She lives in Alpharetta Georgia with her amazing team husband and daughter. Maria studied jewelry making in Maracaibo, where she began creating her own pieces. After several courses in her country Maria found an amazing form of art that would take her to new grounds to explore in the years to come. Her creations are treasures of love to people with tropical touch and inlayed with her traditional values. Seed beads and semi-precious stones are the perfect couple for her designs using various findings and techniques to enhance her jewelry. Beadwork is a time-consuming art but extremely rewarding as she displays her dreams and feelings on each creation. Her native South America (Guajiro Indians and Spaniard descent) as well as her personal interest in Ancient Egyptian culture, has resulted in her unique styles, colors, and designs of jewelry.
