Ryan Wright

As a youth Ryan had a passion for fantastic movies, games, and comic books.  At RSAD Ryan received a degree in Computer Animation.  He learned art history and became inspired by artists like Picasso and Basquiat.  New artistic concepts influenced him.  Cubism, the idea of creating images from different angles simultaneously, is often applied to his art.    Ryan’s degree launched him into the entertainment industry were he worked on illustrations, storyboarding, computer animation, and web page design.  He has applied his artistic skill on various projects including the feature films Dr. Doolittle 2, The Aviator, and The Chronicles of Narnia.   Ryan’s mother is a successful folk artist and she gave him an introduction to its raw, primitive style that is a nice change of pace from the precise, technical world of computer art.  The result is a painting style that Ryan has created from his various influences of folk art, traditional art, computer art, and animation.
