SON OF THE MOON the artist.
From the Mysterious & Magical Deset of Cohauhila. The beginning of his professional career was during his early childhood when he drew for the first time with his father. “Son of the Moon” As a young and passionate teenager, he entered the LA SALLE College of Arts where he experienced the different facets of the design field. While he was a student in college he met his mentor, Mrs. Marcela Lopez, and with her guidance he achieved several projects in various techniques of the arts such as: acrylic, charcoal, glass art (vitroux), engraving, textile-design and photography. He graduated from there with a Degree in Arts & Design.
The artist spent the next few years traveling extensively. Travel gave him the unique opportunity to discover new cultures, observe the smallest of details, and expand his imagination in essence to create the right composition in every project. Soon after arriving to the United States, his creativity flourished even more. He led different marketing campaigns for a prestigious tequila brand and introduced a several professional projects in Atlanta. As an independent artist, his work surpasses the borders of graphic arts. His talent, his perseverance and his vision made him a truly Multifaceted Artist. “Son of the Moon” has consistently demonstrated a true passion for Art. Precise concepts of design and the appeal to the senses are apparent in every work. Exquisite details highlight his compositions. In his native Mexico, he was awarded several prizes for the design of publicity campaigns, billboard design Arts and Photography. In the U.S. he awarded several prizes also and has featured his work at different venues such as: The Atlanta City Hall, Woodruff Arts Center, The Atlanta High Museum of Art, The Contemporary Art Center of Atlanta, The Silva Gallery, The Marietta-Cobb Museum of Art, The Atlanta History Center, Mercer University crossing over to set new opportunities in cultural spaces within Atlanta and Miami FL, in Design Distrit Galleries. He was born in northern Mexico.
